With free admission, visitors can enjoy the Strauss crossover project by Camo & Krooked and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, as well as acts such as No Angels, Kim Wilde, Josh, and Out of Order, until Sunday. EsRap, Jazz Gitti, Conchita Wurst, and cabaret artist David Scheid will perform on other stages. On Friday, shortly before 10 p.m., a sea of lights is planned in front of all stages for the victims of the rampage in Graz.
Organized by the Vienna SPÖ, the festival offers a total of 16 stages and 700 hours of programming. Along a four-and-a-half-kilometer stretch between the Nordbrücke and Reichsbrücke bridges, there will also be a variety of children’s, entertainment, and sports programs in addition to the music.
To ensure that arrivals and departures run as smoothly as possible, Wiener Linien is increasing the frequency of public transport services on lines such as the U1 and U6. Bicycles and e-scooters are not allowed on the premises. The weather forecast promises a sunny, pleasant weekend.
